My 6-Phase Design Framework for Intuitive Entrepreneurs

A cyclical, collaborative approach to building a brand that feels like you

Branding shouldn’t feel like a breakdown waiting to happen. But for many intuitive entrepreneurs, it does. You’re not alone if you’ve ever thought: “I know my work is powerful, but how do I translate that into a brand that actually feels like me?”

This is the most common block I witness. Not just confusion around color or logos, but a deep frustration that makes creative expression feel overwhelming and inaccessible. In a recent podcast I was listening to, someone shared: “I thought I needed to hire an agency because I have almost cried so many times staring at a Canva template…the creative part was such a big pain point.”

That struck me. Because I’ve seen this story play out again and again.

The resistance to design support runs deep, especially when you’re someone who leads with emotion, intuition, or healing work. Another voice in the same conversation shared: “Investing in graphic design was what I was most resistant to, even though it was the thing I struggled with the most.” This is something I’ve heard over and over again from clients over the years. And yet, they also know that when creative alignment does happen it changes everything. It’s what they all come to find once they invest in my work (and, ultimately, in their brands/themselves.)

This is the space I hold. This is the path I offer.

I developed a 6-phase framework to guide intuitive entrepreneurs through the creative process in a way that feels grounded, supportive, and truly reflective of who they are. It’s not about trends. It’s not about making you fit into a box. It’s about building a brand that feels like you.

Why a Framework Matters (Especially for Spiritual Brands)

When you’re building a business from your heart, especially one rooted in healing, art, or intuition, traditional branding advice often feels flat, overwhelming, or misaligned.

Linear formulas can’t hold the nuance of your essence. Downloadable templates won’t help you articulate your lived experience, your values, or your magic. And trying to “DIY” your brand without support can leave you exhausted, second-guessing everything, and unsure how to move forward.

(Although, that said, if you are one of the precious few who has the capacity and spark to DIY your own brand, the resources inside my shop The Apothecary can help.)

That’s why I created a cyclical, collaborative framework, one that holds space for both strategy and softness. It’s designed to move with you, not against you. To help you build a brand that feels aligned, not performative.

This process is how I guide clients through the design process. It’s centered around energetic clarity and creative expression. In this essay I’ll break down each phase of this process to showcase the thoroughness of my design containers and how they can support you in becoming the best version of your brand.

1. Reflection: Uncovering Your Essence

Every intuitive brand begins with a deep exhale.

Before we define your strategy or design anything visual, I begin by tuning into what you’ve shared, and what you may not even realize you’re revealing. This phase isn’t something you see directly, but it shapes everything that follows.

You’ll start with a detailed brand questionnaire, followed by a collaborative strategy session. From there, I begin to listen between the lines. What’s emerging through your voice, your values, your language, your timing? What wants to be seen?

Sometimes this includes an astro-informed perspectivek, looking at your natal chart as a tool to feel into your brand’s natural energy. But most of the reflection happens quietly, in the background, as I absorb your responses and feel for the patterns and truths you might not have named yet.

Reflection is the soul of the process. It’s what makes the strategy that follows feel so clear, personal, and alive.

2. Rooting: Building Your Brand Foundation

This is where we begin to shape the soil your brand will grow from.

With insights gathered during the Reflection phase, I begin to synthesize what’s been shared. I quietly weave together the threads of your voice, values, energetic patterns, and goals. I take the lead on this part, but you’re involved every step of the way. Your input matters, and refinement is not only welcome, it’s expected.

This isn’t about handing you a strategy and hoping it fits. It’s a collaborative process of checking in, feeling into what lands, and making space for a full-body yes. Your lived experience, instincts, and clarity are key to shaping a brand that feels like you.

This is also where astrobranding deepens. We move from an energetic mirror to a strategic tool. We’ll integrate elements from your natal chart to illuminate your communication style, ideal brand voice, and natural rhythms of visibility. Astrology here isn’t a label, it’s a lens that helps us design from the inside out.

But, of course, as with anything concerning astrology: take what you want and leave the rest. If part of your chart doesn’t resonate for your brand, it’s okay to leave it out.

Rooting is practical, but it’s also deeply intuitive. It’s where boundaries get named and clarity takes form. Together, we co-create a brand strategy that supports you as a human and a business owner. It goes way beyond just designing a pretty logo.

By the end of this phase, you’ll have a brand foundation that feels clear, coherent, and unmistakably yours.

3. Aesthetic Expression: Translating Strategy into Visual Direction

In this phase we begin to bring your brand into for—not through trends or templates, but through intentional, intuitive design.

We start with a moodboard, but not the kind you see on Instagram. My moodboarding process is strategic and specific: I use it to visually communicate what I plan to create. If I’m envisioning a drop-shadowed logo, you’ll see that style in the board. If I’m considering certain fonts or color treatments, they’ll be included too.

I also outline the initial color palette at this stage, offering a directional guide so we both know we’re headed toward the right energetic and aesthetic tone. While exact hex codes get finalized later during the design phase, establishing a palette upfront helps set the foundation and ensures alignment early on.

It’s a preview of the creative direction. It’s not just a vibe check, but a visual roadmap. That way, you know exactly what to expect before I begin designing. No surprises, but still plenty of magic.

Once the moodboard is aligned and approved, I move into building your brand’s visual identity: color, typography, logo, styling elements, and creative direction. This is where the magic comes to life. It’s the moment where all the deep work we’ve done begins to take form.

But like all good magic, refinement is part of the process. You’ll have space to respond, reflect, and give feedback. This phase isn’t about perfection on the first try, it’s about creating something that truly resonates. Together, we’ll shape your brand’s visual language until it feels embodied, honest, and uniquely yours.

By the end of this phase, you’ll have a clear, aligned visual identity. It’ll be one that reflects your essence, communicates your story, and sets the creative direction for everything that follows.

4. Integration: Bringing Your Brand to Life

With strategy rooted and visual direction approved, we move into the build phase, where everything comes together in form. This is the part where your brand begins to breathe in the world.

Depending on your project, this could include full custom website design, Squarespace or Shopify development, template customization, creative direction for photography, tarot or oracle deck design, or building supporting brand assets. My role here is both creative and technical. I bring the energy we’ve clarified into every pixel, every page, every touchpoint.

This is also where your brand becomes functional and where we start to experiment. I make sure your systems, structure, and flow support not just your vision, but your audience’s journey. It’s about more than aesthetics. It’s about how people interact with your brand at every touchpoint: on your website, in your inbox, through your products, and in real life.

Whether it’s the ease of booking through your site, the feeling someone gets opening your oracle deck, the clarity of a business card, or the way your brand comes through in a video or Instagram grid, it all matters. Design isn’t just how it looks. It’s how it feels to meet your brand.

And I help ensure every piece of that experience is intentional, embodied, and true to you.

By the end of this phase, your brand will exist in the world with visuals, systems, and structure that reflect your essence and support your presence.

5. Empowerment: Equipping You to Carry It Forward

Once your brand has come to life, I guide you through a gentle, thorough handoff process. You won’t just have a brand, you’ll know how to live in it.

You’ll receive everything you need to move forward with clarity: brand guidelines, final files, custom tutorials, and documentation tailored to your project. If we’ve built a website, I’ll show you how to update and manage it. If we’ve created a product, you’ll leave with everything needed to replicate, share, or print again. This isn’t a messy Google Drive folder and a “good luck,” this is an intentional close.

This phase is about agency and care. My goal is for you to feel confident using what we’ve built, whether you’re updating your site solo or sharing your brand with collaborators. But if you’d rather stay in your zone of genius and keep me in your corner, I also offer continued support through retainer options or à la carte design help when you need it.

You’re not locked in, and you’re never left behind.

By the end of this phase, you’ll feel equipped to embody your brand with confidence and supported, no matter how you choose to move forward.

6. Evolution: Honoring What Comes Next

Every brand evolves. That’s not a glitch, it’s the nature of growth.

This final phase isn’t something we move through together in real time. Instead, it’s something I build for: the inevitable changes, expansions, and pivots that come with living a full creative life. Whether it’s adding new offerings, shifting your audience, refining your visuals, or stepping into a new version of your work, I create every brand with future flexibility in mind.

This means you’re not locked into a visual box or frozen in a moment in time. Your brand can expand with you, adapt with you, and return to itself as often as needed. When the time comes for a refresh, a realignment, or a new chapter, you’ll be able to grow from rooted clarity—not start from scratch.

And if you ever want to revisit the process, I’ll be here when you’re ready.

Your brand won’t stay the same forever and, honestly, that’s the point. This work is designed to grow with you.

Wrapping It All Together

This framework isn’t just a process. It’s a rhythm. A collaboration. A way of bringing your brand to life with clarity, integrity, and soul.

It’s how I support intuitive entrepreneurs—creatives, healers, storytellers, and space-holders—to move from inner knowing to outer expression. Whether we’re building a brand from the ground up or evolving what already exists, this cycle holds space for both structure and softness, magic and strategy.

And the truth is: this isn’t a one-time journey.

It’s a cycle, one you’ll return to again and again as your brand (and your self) continue to grow, shift, and become.

If you’re ready to step into this rhythm, to bring your brand into alignment with who you truly are, I’d love to walk this path with you.
