The Heart Behind Arcoíris Design Studio
Design as a Ritual of Resonance
Hi, I’m Alex, the intuitive brand strategist and designer behind Arcoíris, a creative studio for visionary entrepreneurs who want their brands to feel like them, and resonate with the people they’re here to serve. I work with therapists, creatives, healers, and heart-led disruptors to craft brands and websites that become sacred containers, for their values, their vision, and their community.
At the core of everything I do is this belief: Design is a ritual of resonance. It’s how we tune your brand to the frequency of your essence, so the right people can feel it, recognize it, and respond with a full-body yes.
Why Arcoíris?
Arcoíris means “rainbow” in Spanish, and for me, it’s more than a name. It’s an anchor, an offering, and a reclamation. I’ve always been a lover of color. I love bold, layered, soul-feeding color. It’s how I see the world, how I design, how I express. So rainbows, with their full-spectrum beauty, have always felt like home. Plus, as a Guatemalan Latina, color is also deeply cultural. The vibrant textiles from my heritage, the handwoven reds, pinks, yellows, blues, feel like visual prayers. Choosing Arcoíris is a nod to that lineage, a thread back to the land and people who shaped me.
I didn’t always go by Arcoíris Design Studio. When I first started my business, it had a different name, one that felt safer, easier, more palatable. But over time, it stopped resonating. I needed something that reflected me. So I changed it. I shared the whole story here, but what matters most is this: Arcoíris stuck because of the deep meaning it holds. It’s more than a name, it’s a frequency. And that resonance is worth everything.
In an industry that often feels whitewashed and homogenous, naming my studio in Spanish is an act of grounding and visibility. It’s my way of saying: this space was built with different roots, and it carries different values.
And then there’s Iris: the Greek goddess of the rainbow, the divine messenger. I consider her one of my guides. Arco-Iris...it fits. Her energy mirrors my own intention: to help bring through beauty, clarity, and connection.
My art style reflects this too. It’s eclectic, layered, playful, and always infused with meaning. Arcoíris is color, culture, connection, and cosmos, all braided into one name. It’s the foundation of how I work: helping you find and express your own radiant spectrum.
What I do (and how I do it differently)

Astrobranding Sessions: Want to brand with the stars? These sessions offer astrology-informed insight into your brand essence, rooted in your natal chart, business goals, and energetic blueprint. Perfect for deep clarity before a visual rebrand or offer pivot.
The Apothecary: My growing digital library of templates and tools, designed for clarity, ease, and autonomy. Think of it as your DIY brand medicine cabinet: here when you need a refresh, a creative boost, or a more easeful workflow.
