How I Balance Intuition & Strategy in Business Decisions
In business, I believe our decisions are most powerful when they’re both strategic and intuitive. When we listen not only to the numbers and the plans, but to the quiet wisdom in our bodies, energy, and yes, even our birth charts.

This isn’t just about astrology or systems. It’s about building a business that actually feels like you. So today, I’m sharing how I make decisions in my business and how I let intuition & strategy co-create every step forward.
Strategy: The Sacred Structure That Holds the Vision
Strategy is about vision. It’s about direction, decision-making, and ensuring that every creative move I make is rooted in purpose and aligned with the overall goals of the project. It’s how I stay focused on the big picture while moving through the creative process with intention and clarity.
My Capricorn Mars in the 6th house is part of a powerful stellium with Mercury, Neptune, and Uranus. This means I bring not just discipline, but also innovation, intuition, and deep analysis into the creative work I do with clients.
Strategy is what keeps my design projects from spiraling into pretty-but-pointless territory. It ensures that we’re not just creating something beautiful; rather, we’re creating something that moves the needle for my clients. It’s how I make sure every design choice, color palette, or website flow is anchored in a clear objective.
For brand identity work, this means starting every custom branding project with a strategy phase where we clarify the client's vision, values, audience, and market position. We define messaging pillars and visual direction before any intuitive design magic begins. This way, the creativity is guided, not chaotic, and always intentional.
For custom web design, I start all projects with a strategy phase where we map out content structure, user journey, and functionality goals in advance. I don’t open a design program until we know what needs to be said, shown, and experienced on each page. That’s strategy at work. It ensures we're not just making a website that looks good, but making a website that works.
Capricorn Mars doesn’t rush. She builds intentionally. Strategy, to me, is what keeps everything aligned and impactful. It’s how I channel my creativity into something that actually supports my clients’ growth on a holistic level.
Intuition: The Inner Compass That Leads with Truth
While strategy gives me form, intuition leads my creative practice. It is the heart of how I design. It's not just a tool I use, but the place I begin from.
My design business wouldn’t exist without intuition. It was a soul-deep knowing, quiet but undeniable, that said, “This is the path,” and pulled me in a direction I never expected. I never set out to become a designer; in fact, I was convinced I’d be a research scientist. But when I pivoted careers after a huge personal transformation, it was intuition that showed me where I was meant to go. That same intuitive wisdom continues to guide every creative decision I make. It shapes how I approach projects, how I serve clients, and how I infuse meaning into every design I create.
In every project, my intuition leads before the visuals take shape. Whether I’m naming an offer, designing a brand identity, or building a website experience, I let my intuitive sense guide how I interpret a client’s essence into something visual and resonant.
As a Libra Moon in the 3rd house, I experience intuition through aesthetics, words, and energy. This is especially true in the way I think and communicate. I’m constantly tuning into what feels harmonious, what reflects balance, and what aligns with the emotional and energetic tone of the work. That resonance is everything. I often make creative decisions based on how something feels in my body, not just how it looks on paper.
What intuition looks like in action for me:
Being divinely guided toward a brand logo concept. I'll often receive a clear visual or energetic feeling that leads the creative direction for a brand I'm working on.
Feeling inspired by something unexpected in nature or daily life. On my walks, I’ve seen flowers whose colors sparked the entire direction of a brand’s color palette. These quiet moments often become the catalyst for creative choices that feel deeply aligned and meaningful.
Letting lunar cycles and astrological transits shape how I approach my day, my energy, and my creative decisions
Trusting the energetic yes. Even when it doesn’t make logical sense, sometimes it still feels absolutely aligned in my body and spirit.
Intuition doesn’t always give me the full picture. But it gives me enough to take the next step with trust.
When Intuition & Strategy Co-Create
This is where the magic really begins to unfold. Strategy gives me structure. Intuition gives me soul. One without the other feels incomplete. But when they work together, they create something powerful, aligned, and deeply resonant.
Here’s how that blend shows up in my creative process:
Strategy offers the roadmap: “Let’s define the goals, outline the path, and understand how to connect with your audience in a meaningful way.”
Intuition whispers how to make it resonate: “Here’s the unique energy, emotion, and essence this vision needs to truly come alive.”
This integration isn’t about forcing a perfect 50/50 split. It’s about attunement, knowing which one needs to lead in the moment. It’s about being the kind of business owner who can move between logic and emotion, planning and presence, clarity and creativity. When both are honored, my work feels not only effective, but truly alive.
Returning to Intuitive Alignment
The dance between intuition and strategy isn’t a one-time decision. It’s an ongoing, embodied practice.
One of the main ways I connect to my intuition is through embodiment. For me, that means returning to my body, most often through yoga. Movement slows down the mental noise and helps me quiet the ego so I can hear the deeper wisdom within. It’s in those moments on the mat, when my breath syncs with movement, that I find clarity.
If I’m feeling creatively blocked, overwhelmed, or disconnected from myself, I don’t force it. I move. I let my body lead. And from that grounded place, I can feel what’s truly aligned. That’s when my best ideas surface, not from overthinking, but from listening inward. My creative intuition flows most freely when I’m embodied, present, and anchored in truth.
Final Thoughts
Sometimes I lean more into structure. Other times, I need spaciousness to hear my inner voice. What matters most is that I’m building a business that reflects my energy, my values, and my truth. It's not about following someone else’s blueprint, but following your own.
You don’t have to choose between being strategic or intuitive. You get to be both. You already are both.
Build your structure. Trust your spark. Lead with clarity. Move with intuition. And know that your way, your real, resonant, rooted way, is more than enough.
