I’m on Substack

Welcome back to the Rainbow Reflections newsletter.

I’m excited to share that I’ve recently joined Substack! While most of my work focuses on business, I wanted a space where I could explore and write about topics that don’t always fit neatly into that category—things that matter to me, both personally and professionally.

My first post is up, and while it focuses on a recent experience with client boundaries, I’m also sharing topics beyond business. For example, my second post dives into my recent love for tofu—how I’ve been preparing it, my favorite recipes, and why it’s become a go-to in my kitchen. If you're curious about that post, you can read it here.

If you'd like to check out my first post about the lessons I learned from setting boundaries, you can find it here.

Bonus Insight: A Boundaries Tip I Didn’t Include in the Post

One thing I didn’t touch on in the post is the idea of flexible boundaries. While it’s essential to set firm, non-negotiable boundaries to protect your energy and time, it’s also important to recognize that not all situations are the same. Flexibility allows us to adapt based on the unique energy of a project, a relationship, or even our own emotional state at any given moment.

For example, some projects might require stricter boundaries, like clear-cut deadlines and set communication styles, while others might benefit from a more collaborative and open-ended approach. It’s about knowing when to stand firm and when to lean into the flow of a situation.

The key is balance. You need to understand that you can hold strong on the things that matter most to you while also allowing space for adjustments when it feels right. Flexibility doesn’t mean compromising your values or bending over backward to please others. It’s about honoring your needs and creating an environment that fosters mutual respect and understanding.

Recognizing when to be firm and when to be flexible is an ongoing practice, and it’s something I’m continuing to refine as I grow in my business and personal life.

Conclusion

Why am I sharing all of this on Substack? It’s a space where I can dive into more personal reflections and insights, while keeping my direct marketing channels—like this newsletter—focused on my business and professional offerings. This way, I can maintain a sense of professionalism while still sharing more vulnerable, behind-the-scenes thoughts in a space that feels right for it.

I’d love for you to join me on Substack, where I’ll be sharing more reflections, thoughts, and insights that extend beyond what I usually cover in my newsletters. If this resonates with you, please feel free to share it with others, too!

Thank you for your continued support as I step into this new space, it means a lot.

Wishing you Rainbows,
