I am starting a new series on the blog. As you can probably tell from the title above, it’s called Diary of a Human Being. This is going to be an off-the-cuff series where I go all-in on a topic that I feel like discussing. There won’t be an agenda. There won’t be an outline. There won’t even be research (unless I feel like diving into research.) The idea is that I will discuss from my heart and share what’s on my mind. There won’t be any goal to the posts themselves except self-expression.

I think that background is one of the reasons why, for me, color is one of the most interesting parts of design. It's something that's so foundational, we don't even realize the effect it has on us. Our brains process color so seamlessly and effortlessly that we can forget that each color has a different effect on us.

Creating my oracle deck was the first time I ever interacted with a force other than my own. Something grand that was compelling me to create art. I didn't know why I was doing it, but I knew I had to.
